A sudden urge to paint...

I was in the middle of writing a post earlier and I suddenly got what I can only describe as 'the itch' - that really strong urge to pick up a paintbrush, and a picture forming in my head. It's not the most technically perfect or accurate picture but I am pretty happy with it anyway and I thought I'd share.

    WOW! I'd be more than happy with it too H, you've done a top job and how wonderful the results when we follow those strong intuitive urges. You surely do have huge talent with a paint brush in your hand, among many other talents! xoJoy

      Thanks Joy! It is such a strong urge when it arrives, and if I don't give in I usually regret it - it's good to get going when the idea is fresh. I think maybe reading your blog yesterday woke up my colour palette a bit! All your lovely use of colour is very inspiring :) xx
